Let your kitty enjoy a holiday of their own at Better Pet Vets Getaway Cat Boarding. From sunny window watching to cozy afternoon naps, our purpose-built cattery is designed for comfort, calm, and a little bit of luxury. With spacious condos, fresh meals, and plenty of care and attention, your cat can relax, explore, or simply snooze the day away. Whether they’re a curious climber or a quiet nap lover, we make sure every guest feels safe, happy, and right at home.

Admission and discharge times can be booked:

• Spacious multi-level condos with separate living and toileting areas
• Daily attention and health monitoring by trained staff
• Fresh veterinary recommended food and water provided twice daily
• Litter changed twice daily
• Access to natural light and viewing window
• Comfortable bedding (or bring your own)
• On-site veterinary care if required

To ensure the safety of all cats, the following are required before your booking is finalised:

• Up-to-date vaccinations (F3 minimum)
• Vaccination certificate provided prior to stay (if vaccinated outside of Better Pet Vets)
• Up-to-date flea and tick prevention (within 3 months)

Due to safetty concerns, we ask that all boarding cats who wear collars be equipped with a break-away collar only. If your cats collar is not a break-away, we kindly ask this is removed prior to boarding.

• Invoice payments required on date of discharge
• Accepted payment methods: EFTPOS, cash, card, phone payment
• Deposit of 50% required to secure public holiday bookings. Deposit is 100% refundable if cancellations occur before 28 days of admission date.

• Cancellations always accepted
• Public holiday cancellations after 28 days of admission date will result in your deposit being forfeited

Any health concerns will be assessed by our in-house veterinary team and owners will be contacted where possible. Any veterinary treatment costs will be the responsibility of the owner

Owners may bring small comfort items for their cat such as blankets, beds and toys. Items must be clearly labelled. We are not responsible for lost or damaged or soiled items.

All cats must be manageable and safe to handle. Aggressive or highly stressed cats may require alternative arrangements. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue barding if the cat’s welfare is compromised.

Owners required to provide at least one emergency contact. This chosen contact must be authorised to make decisions if the owner is unavailable.
