I graduated from the University of Queensland in 2008 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science with Honours. From university, as a new graduate, I started my career in far north Queensland where I worked with an assortment of animals ranging from cassowaries and crocodiles to domestic dogs, cats and horses. In 2015 I moved back to Mackay and began working at Better Pet Vets.

When I’m not at work, I’m spending time with my husband and children. We enjoy getting out and about 4WD and camping. At home I have 2 Border Collies, a cat and aviary full of rescued birds.
